The connection of voltage distribution devices at all levels in the substation, as well as the connection of electrical equipment such as transformers and corresponding distribution devices, mostly adopts the bare wire or stranded wire with rectangular or circular section, which is collectively referred to as the bus .
The function of a bus is to collect, distribute and transmit electrical energy.Because the busbar is in operation, there is a huge electric energy through, short circuit, under a lot of heat and electrodynamic effect, therefore, it must be reasonable to choose the busbar material, section shape and section area to meet the requirements of safe and economic operation .
Bus is divided into hard bus and soft bus by structure.The hard bus pipe tube is divided into rectangular bus and tubular bus.Rectangular busbar is generally used in the main transformer to the distribution room, its advantages are convenient construction and installation, small change in operation, large carrying capacity, but high cost.
Soft bus used for outdoor, because the space is large, the wire swing is not enough to cause the distance between the lines.
Soft bus construction is simple and cheap.
Bus storage conditions:
1. After the bus arrives at the project site, it should be stored in a separate room to avoid dust, rain and other pollution.
2. After the bus is stored in the room, other construction units shall not place other articles on it.
